Today I came to CouCou Hotpot at Qiandeng Lake Huanyu City with a friend, and the overall quality clearly exceeded expectations. The pot base is spicy and fragrant without being greasy. The blood tofu is unlimited, absorbs the soup well, and becomes more flavorful the longer it cooks without getting cloying. The beef is sliced to a perfect thickness, the shrimp paste is bouncy, and the large intestine is clean with no off-putting smell—the details show the quality of ingredients and kitchen skills. Paired with braised pork rice and a kids’ meal, the combination is reasonable and portions are generous, making the overall value for money quite outstanding. The environment is clean and comfortable, and the pacing of table turnover and service is well-managed. It’s the kind of place you silently add to your return list after eating—worth revisiting multiple times.
