Review

While strolling around Chenbaolai Square, I unexpectedly discovered a newly opened char siu rice shop.

I happened to see a group deal on Dianping: a single-person set meal for 15.8 yuan. I decisively tried their signature honey-glazed char siu rice and added double eggs myself.

Overall, it was quite a pleasant surprise—

The char siu was sweet with a honey glaze, oily but not greasy, and the rice was fragrant. Adding double eggs was a great bonus.

The key point is the excellent value for money. At this price, it’s very friendly in the Jade Street area, and it even comes with a free drink.

The normal price is probably around 23-24 yuan, so this group deal was a real bargain.

I’m just not sure how long this promotion will last; it might return to the original price at any time.
