Today I passed by this newly opened Shunde steamed pork ribs rice shop and found that the original shop had closed and been replaced. Since I was passing by, I thought I’d give it a try. I didn’t expect to be the first person to write a review for this shop.
I ordered their 19 yuan set meal: a small portion of steamed pork ribs, a serving of greens, and rice. Additionally, soup and rice are self-service and free to refill. At this price in Pingzhou, the value is quite good.
As for the taste, overall I think it’s decent. Among the steamed rice dishes I’ve had, I’d give it about 80 points. The ribs were steamed quite flavorful, but the small portion isn’t all pure ribs; it includes some pork liver. The portion size is a bit small, but still acceptable; it’s enough for one person normally.
Overall, as a new shop, the quality is stable and the price is not expensive. If you don’t know what to eat nearby, it’s okay for a simple meal.
