Today I finished some errands nearby and it was already late, so I randomly chose this Zhanjiang chicken place. By the time I arrived, they were about to close. There were hardly any customers, and they close at 9 PM.
I ordered half a Zhanjiang chicken and an olive and lean meat soup. To be honest, the meal was quite average. The Zhanjiang chicken wasn’t particularly impressive; the meat was a bit dry, lacking tenderness and chicken flavor. The olive and lean meat soup was also mediocre, with the lean meat overcooked and tough.
Maybe because it was near closing time, the overall quality was subpar. Based on this experience, there’s not much reason for me to come again. Overall, I give it a 3 out of 5, just to warn others.
