This Hunan restaurant has been open for quite a while in Jade Street, but I never had a chance to try it. Today I happened to pass by and decided to give it a shot.
Since I have a few regular Hunan restaurants in Jade Street, I had some expectations. Eating alone, I couldn’t order too much, so I simply got a sour cabbage fish and a serving of spicy chicken feet.
When the food arrived, the spicy chicken feet surprised me the most—they exceeded expectations. The chicken feet were cut in half, making them easy to eat and very flavorful. The spiciness was strong but not overwhelming. The texture was soft and sticky, falling off the bone easily, and they went perfectly with rice.
The sour cabbage fish was decent too, but the chicken feet were the highlight. I’ll definitely come back when passing through Jade Street. It’s another good Hunan restaurant I’ve discovered.
