Today, I visited this museum in Zhaoqing. Overall, it had more content than I expected. Admission is free!
The museum mainly covers the history related to the Viceroy of Liangguang and the urban development of Zhaoqing as an important regional center at that time. After viewing, I could feel that this city indeed has a certain historical status and cultural accumulation, and I gained a clearer understanding of the Lingnan region in the past.
The exhibition content is quite rich, not the type you can breeze through quickly. It’s worth taking your time to look around.
A plus point is that parking here is free, and it’s near the city government. The overall facilities and order are well-managed, making for a comfortable experience.
The maintenance and environment of the entire venue are also good, comparable to some urban public cultural facilities.
If you’re visiting Zhaoqing city, this can be a stop to learn about the city’s history along the way. It’s a place worth spending some time at.
