This time I visited Jieyang Old City and stayed at this hotel. The overall experience was even better than expected.
Although the hotel has been open for some years, it was renovated last year. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a relatively new decoration style. It was very comfortable to stay in, without the outdated feel of an old hotel.
What I was most satisfied with was the location. It takes about five to ten minutes to walk from the hotel to Jieyang Old City, making it very convenient for exploring the old town and eating. No need to take a taxi back at night.
The front desk guy was particularly enthusiastic. When checking in, he proactively recommended many local snacks that locals frequent. Following his suggestions, I tried shark fin noodles and fermented bean curd fried chive rice, and they were indeed delicious. It saved me a lot of detours.
The room I booked this time also included breakfast, at just over 200 yuan per night. Considering the location, room environment, and service, I think it offers great value for money. If you’re traveling to Jieyang and looking for a hotel that’s conveniently located, comfortable, and reasonably priced, this one is worth considering.
