Jinxian Gate in Jieyang Ancient City is essentially a preserved city gate and one of the most visible landmarks when entering the ancient city.

The gate itself is not large in scale, nor is it particularly magnificent. According to records, it was first built during the Ming Dynasty (1622) and has a history of over 400 years. Although the architecture is not grand, as a witness to the ancient city’s history, it still holds certain cultural value.

If you visit Jieyang Ancient City, you will basically pass by here. It’s fine to take a few photos and briefly learn about its history. The entire visit takes about 10 minutes. There’s no need to make a special trip just for it; it’s better to treat it as part of the ancient city tour.
