This visit to Huichang Restaurant in Shunde Chencun was truly an unforgettable experience. The environment is spacious and clean, with a comfortable and generous atmosphere. The staff are warm and attentive, making you feel at home.
What impressed me most were several signature dishes. The herbal pigeon soup is rich and aromatic, with tender pigeon meat and a perfect blend of herbal and pigeon flavors—both nourishing and delicious. The large-headed prawns are substantial, with firm and bouncy flesh, leaving a sweet aftertaste in the mouth. The straw-fired pig trotters are braised until soft and flavorful, fatty but not greasy, melting in your mouth—a classic Shunde dish. Every dish showcases the chef’s skill and craftsmanship.
The prices are also reasonable, with generous portions suitable even for group dining. Overall, Huichang Restaurant deserves a full score recommendation for its environment, service, and food quality. I will definitely come again and recommend friends to taste authentic Shunde cuisine together!
