After finishing work today, I originally planned to go to Chuan Xiaobai behind Jinbo Center, but the queue was too long, so I had to switch to another place. I happened to see a shop next door called “Xiji Secret Recipe BBQ,” and there was also a line at the door. It seemed promising, so I decided to give it a try.
I casually ordered about eight or nine skewers of various types, and the per-person cost was less than 80 yuan—really good value. Overall, it was quite a pleasant surprise; the taste was much better than expected.
I particularly recommend their butter chicken wings, pork edge meat, and honey-glazed spare ribs. They’re all juicy and flavorful, very satisfying to eat.
Although the ratings on the platform aren’t very high, based on my own experience, it was totally fine—even a little surprising. I’ll probably come again.
