Today, my friend and I finally visited this long-saved restaurant, “Niuniu Farm.” As soon as we walked in, we felt a strong sense of lively atmosphere—a typical Shunde home-style restaurant, not too fancy, but every detail showed care.
We ordered their signature “steamed pork kidney,” “sliced boiled pork belly,” and a few dim sum dishes. As soon as they were served, you could see the sincerity in the ingredients—generous portions, simple but neat plating. The taste was even better: the ingredients were very fresh, and the cooking was authentic, bringing out the essence of Shunde cuisine—“clear, fresh, and tender.”
Throughout the meal, what touched us most wasn’t any single dish, but the overall feeling: it was like a small eatery frequented by local old neighbors, without commercialized packaging, yet the flavors were steady and comforting. Eating a meal in such an environment felt even more heartwarming.
If you also like this kind of down-to-earth Shunde home-style cuisine that emphasizes the original flavor of ingredients, this place is definitely worth a special trip.
