Today I came to eat their bamboo noodles again. To be honest, this place is really one of my ‘regular canteens.’
What I like most about their bamboo noodles is the broth. The soup is especially fresh and rich, not bland at all—it really feels like it’s been carefully simmered. The noodles also have the texture I love: chewy and elastic, the more you eat, the more fragrant they become.
This time I ordered the beef brisket noodles. The brisket was generous, with large chunks, very tender and flavorful, and it went perfectly with the bamboo noodles. The best part is that it’s only 16 yuan per serving, which is great value for money these days.
The only small downside is that sometimes they sell out quickly, so you have to be lucky to get some. Other than that, there’s basically nothing wrong. It’s the kind of place you’d want to eat at when passing by, and you’d also make a special trip for. Highly recommended.
