I had just finished eating at the pig trotter rice shop across the street when I spotted this dessert shop. I thought I’d grab a bowl of sweet soup to cut the grease. I opened Dianping and saw they had a 15-yuan coupon for mango pomelo sago, which was a good deal, so I ordered one.
My first impression upon entering was positive—the place was spacious and bright, with a comfortable interior. In Jade Street, it’s rare to find a dessert shop with such an environment. It’s not just for a quick dessert; it’s also a nice spot to sit down with a book, chat, or even do some work, with a relaxed vibe.
The mango pomelo sago came quickly, served in a large bowl—more generous than I expected. It had sago, mango, pomelo, and the texture was smooth, with just the right sweetness—not too cloying, and not half-hearted. After a meal, having this bowl felt really satisfying.
Overall, this shop is great in terms of environment, quality, and value for money. Next time I’m near Jade Street and want a place to sit and have some dessert, I’ll definitely come back.
