Today, when it was time to eat, I found this private kitchen nearby and decided to give it a try.
We ordered half a tea-oil chicken, one stir-fried pork belly with bamboo shoots, and one serving of salty glutinous rice balls. The serving speed was decent. My first impression was that the portions were quite generous—enough for several people.
Among the dishes, I thought the tea-oil chicken was the best. The chicken was tender, and the tea-oil aroma was prominent without being too greasy. The fermented bean curd stir-fried bamboo shoots were average, more like home-style cooking. The salty glutinous rice balls are a local specialty worth trying.
Overall, this restaurant is the type with generous portions, reasonable prices, and stable flavors. Nothing particularly amazing, but nothing disappointing either. The service attitude was also good. If you’re nearby and want a home-style meal, you can give it a try. Personally, I’d rate it around 80 points.
