It was pouring rain at noon today. Normally, this kind of weather is best for staying home, but I was in a good mood and wanted to find something to eat, so I came to this Hunan restaurant in Jade Street again.
This place has been open in Jade Street for a while. I’ve been here a few times before, and my overall impression is positive. Today I ordered their lunch set: 20 yuan for stir-fried pork with rice. The stir-fried pork was decent—it had that wok hei, and the spiciness was enough to go with the rice. I’d give it an 85 out of 100. As a workday lunch, it offers good value.
However, I later found out that if you order through the JD Food delivery platform and use coupons, it might be even cheaper than eating in. So if you want to try it, check the delivery platforms for deals before you go—you might save a bit. Just a tip for everyone.
